Ivan trained at Middlesex University and London Studio Centre where he won the Lia Williams Cup for best performance in a musical.
Theatre credits include: Merv and alternate Wally Strand in Strictly Ballroom (original West End cast, Piccadilly); Jesus Christ Superstar (Regents Park Theatre); Razoul in Aladdin The Musical (original West End cast Prince Edward); creating the role of the Dodo in Wonder.Land (original cast National Theatre/MIF); Dance Till Dawn (original cast, Aldwych/UK Tour); creating the role of Willie Lopez in Ghost the Musical (original cast, Piccadilly/UK Tour); creating the role of Dinero in Sister Act(original cast, London Palladium); Never Forget(original cast,Savoy/UK tour); Zorro the Musical(original cast, UK tour); Saturday Night Fever(Asian tour); Footloose(original West End cast, Novello and Playhouse); Annie Get Your Gun (UK tour); Saturday Night Fever(Apollo Victoria/Asian Tour); Bombay Dreams(Apollo Victoria/St James Theatre Broadway); The King and I(UK tour).
